Ryan Arcese Honored in GlobeSt.’s CRE’s Aspiring Leaders of 2025
Ryan Arcese, a senior asset manager at Armada Hoffler, was recently made the CRE’s Aspiring Leaders of 2025 by GlobeSt. This list recognizes ambitious and talented professionals, under the age of 40, who hold solid track records of noteworthy transaction volume and significant contributions to their company’s overall success.

As senior asset manager at Armada Hoffler, Ryan Arcese has demonstrated an ability to maximize asset value in a shifting commercial real estate landscape. Arcese’s expertise lies in optimizing space usage, creatively structuring deals, and balancing the long-term financial and operational needs of landlords and tenants.
Throughout the last three years, Arcese has been instrumental in leasing nearly two million square feet of space, including 340,000 square feet in the past year alone. He has led initiatives that increased rents by 20% while maintaining a 90% occupancy rate in an 80,000-square-foot Virginia Beach office property.
One of Arcese’s most notable achievements is leading the asset management strategy for Armada Hoffler’s $215 million acquisition of The Interlock in Atlanta. Taking over as a lender-turned-owner, he played a key role in repositioning the asset, including the rapid re-leasing of 38,000 out of 40,000 square feet returned by WeWork during its bankruptcy, all within just 12 months.
Arcese’s background in accounting at AvalonBay Communities provided him with the analytical skills to evaluate deals, while his passion for operations propelled him into leadership roles. He emphasizes patience, adaptability and continuous learning as key to success in commercial real estate.
