T. Rowe Price has been awarded LEED Platinum certification for its recently completed headquarters in Baltimore, the highest designation under the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program.
The global asset management firm earned the recognition for the interior design and construction of its 550,000-square-foot offices, located across two connected towers in the Harbor Point development overlooking the city’s waterfront.
To achieve LEED Platinum certification, an office must meet prerequisites and earn credits across nine categories, including energy efficiency, water usage and materials.

T. Rowe Price’s corporate offices feature a rainwater harvesting system, LED lighting systems, energy-efficient mechanical systems and design features that maximize natural lighting and waterfront views, the company said. The building also features built-in recycling and composting stations, and its location provides access to nearby transit and bike storage.
“Our headquarters demonstrates what can be achieved when sustainability, innovation, and collaboration come together,” Raymone Jackson, head of community affairs and president of the T. Rowe Price Foundation, said in a release. “It’s a space designed to inspire our teams and community every day, while also meeting the highest environmental standards.”
T. Rowe Price signed a letter of intent in 2020 to relocate from its longtime headquarters in downtown Baltimore to Harbor Point, Beatty Development’s 27-acre mixed-use development that includes office buildings at 1310 Point St. and 1201 Wills St., retail, apartments and a hotel.
T. Rowe Price began moving employees into the building in March, with Beatty Development also earning LEED Gold for the property earlier this year.
