Winners of CBJ’s Heavy Hitters awards revealed: Chronicle Mill wins top adaptive reuse development
Armada Hoffler is thrilled to have Chronicle Mill honored as the Top Adaptive Reuse Development for Charlotte Business Journal’s 2023 Heavy Hitters Commercial Real Estate Awards. This program highlights top developments in the Charlotte region.
Chronicle Mill is located in Belmont, North Carolina and is a former textile mill that produced its last skein of yarn in 2010. Sitting on a 7-acre site, the $55 million project includes 238 apartments, 9,000 square feet of commercial space, and the public coworking space, Mill Collective.
A crowd of more than 300 people gathered at The Westin Charlotte hotel in uptown for the event on October 12th, where 26 commercial real estate developments were recognized as finalists across nearly a dozen categories.
