Retail shops at Brooks Crossing are one component of an ongoing, mixed-use development that began in 2015 as a public-private partnership between the City of Newport News and Armada Hoffler. The retail shops are located on either side of a 28,000 square foot grocery store that is not owned by Armada Hoffler.
