The second phase of development at Brooks Crossing is a 100,000 square foot office building anchored by Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE:HII), that will occupy 80 percent of the space to accommodate nearly 600 engineering and design jobs. The new office property will also be home to a workforce development center and the Economic Development Authority will lease approximately 15,000 square feet of space for STEM initiatives.
